McCormick PhD Hooding and Master's Degree Recognition Ceremony
Saturday, December 13, 4 p.m.
Location: Pick-Staiger Concert Hall, 50 Arts Circle Drive, Evanston, IL 60208 map it
The ceremony will be recorded and there will be a livestream for those unable to join in person.Register for Your Ceremony
Graduates who wish to attend the McCormick PhD Hooding and Master's Degree Recognition Ceremony are encouraged to register now and must register by Friday, Nov. 14:
- Visit northwestern.tassel.com.
- Select 'register’ under New Users.
- Register using the email address where you received this email.
- Instructions for setting your password will be sent to your email address. Select the ‘set password’ link included in the email.
- Your ceremony will appear after you have finished logging in. Select 'Register Here.'
- Complete the registration form and select ‘Submit.’

Order Your Regalia
Regalia must be worn by all participating graduates. All regalia must be ordered by Friday, Nov. 14.
Master's Regalia Information and Deadline
Master's students can purchase regalia online to be shipped to their home or to be picked up in-store at the Norris University Center Bookstore.
- Friday, Nov. 14 – order deadline for master's regalia.
When ordering your regalia, please ensure you are adding the master's regalia set and the master hood separately. Master's students should select the orange hood color.
PhD Regalia Information and Deadline
PhD regalia can be ordered using the link below and will be available for pickup at the bookstore. Ship to home is not an option for PhD rental regalia.
- Friday, Nov. 14 – order deadline for PhD regalia, which must be picked up at the bookstore.
When ordering your regalia, please ensure you are adding the doctoral hood, gown, and cap to your cart.
Regalia must be returned to the bookstore by Sunday, Dec. 19.

Tickets are not required for the December 2025 ceremony. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
